Art from the Marche country: who is Stefano Calisti?

Stefano is a true native of the Marche region, in Italy,  and his homeland is often the protagonist of his paintings. However, his fame has crossed Italian borders, with his works exhibited in galleries across every continent. He also participated in the 54th Venice Biennale, curated by Vittorio Sgarbi and Alessandro Grasso.

Behind his intense, almost surreal colors, a conceptual component emerges where nature and artifice collide. This creates parallel tactile and visual sensations, as if fulfilling a need to match pictorial notes with a more concrete testimony that gives body to the represented reality.

Materials

These decorative panels are made of 3mm thick aluminum with a “black core” that creates a sleek, high-impact profile. Spacers are applied to the back, serving a dual purpose: they provide an aesthetic “floating” effect from the wall and offer a technical solution, featuring holes for easy hanging.

Installation

Art Panels are remarkably lightweight and easy to mount in two ways:

• With a standard wall nail.

• Using double-sided adhesive tape. In this case, the panel can also be attached to doors or smooth surfaces such as glass.
